Quills. Quills, ink, and paper. Fortunately, I'm well armed.
I didn't put together my ostrich feather quills for the photos, but I want to, later, and take some black and white shots.
Sadly, I'm still missing an inkwell. :(

The Mary's Pizza Shack billboards, one on each side of I-80 so I can see them going and coming from Davis. There's a fake lady up there "painting" or whatever it is she does. At first, I thought she was real and laughed, "haha poor woman is out here in the heat" (It was May-ish when I first noticed I think). Then I realized she wasn't real. Then both women were gone. Until today. They've been mysteriously replaced, with new wardrobes. Odd. Very very odd...

What's the most memorable crush you have had?

Sophomore year I had a crush on our French foreign exchange student, Romain Caillaud (yes I still remember his name). He was hot, short, and had an accent. The worse part was, I took these paparazzi-like shots when I had my camera with me on campus. Then I was introduced to him, totally blubbered about how much I had a crush on him and he let my friend take a picture of us with his arm around me. OH, and he sang me happy birthday in French. I look awful in that photo, but yay... there's 17-year old me!
And just to get it off my chest, here's a nicer, more recent photo of me... Looks like I finally got that hair under control. :)
I've been looking for the song "Something" since I saw/heart it on a DVD tribute last spring to George Harrison from a few years ago. Stupid me didn't realize it was on the "Across the Universe" soundtrack!
Ta-dum! I bring to you the wonderful non-Beatles rendition of "Something"!
